A worthy alternative to PhotoshopPhotoScape is a free photo editing program that has quite a few features and tools that anyone serious about their photos would definitely want to see. While not on the same level as Photoshop, it’s almost as close to any free photo editor and, while it doesn’t look great, it performs far better than many photo editors with a lot of potential. FotoScape is a great free photo editor offering users a large number of very useful tools and features to improve and edit their photos. While it doesn’t offer the same flexibility as Photoshop, much is needed, from installation to completion (function () {(‘review-app-page-desktop’);}); Installing Photoscape download Downloading and installing PhotoScape is painless and fast. Sometimes the installation wizard can combine other programs, so you have to pay attention all the time, but the overall effect is simple. Once you open the program, you will see an interface that looks a bit odd. This is mainly because the start screen looks unbalanced as there is a large picture on the right and almost nothing on the left. Once you select an option, this will disappear, but makes your first experience with this app a bit weird. Photo editing options with PhotoScape On the rather odd home screen, you are offered two ways to interact with the photo editing software. Clicking one of the icons around the main PhotoScape icon is one, or you can access it via the tabs found at the top of the app. Here, on the main screen, you can also access language options, other options, and several other software from the same developer, PhotoScape X for Mac, VideoBlend for Mac, and Morning Kit for Android. The various photo editing options, as they appear in the tabs are: Photoscape: home screen Viewer: file explorer Editor: basic but useful photo editor Group editor: edit many files at once Pages: framed photo maker type Combine: combine multiple images into one Animated Gif: create Animated GIF Print: print your picture Help: help file If you return to the main page, you will be able to access all these options, and a little more, namely: Raw converter: convert RAW to JPG Color encoder: select a specific color Screen recording: draw what’s on your screen Horizontal: split a photo into several parts Renaming: renaming a photo file Paper printing: printing photos on layered paper (music, graphic paper, etc.) Photo editing with PhotoScape For many, PhotoScapes’ editing capabilities are essential. The app works well, although the editing options are not on the same level as more complex photo editing programs. When you open a photo in the editor, you’ll see the photo on the main screen, the file explorer on the left, and editing options down. Editing options can be further divided into houses, objects, crops and tools. The main limitation here is that PhotoScape does not support layers, but supports many other great editing options. The homepage lets you resize images and apply all kinds of special effects, such as effects, filters, and average editing options, such as bloat, sharpen, and black and white. Objects allow you to writeon the picture, or insert shapes and symbols on it. Crop offers many options for cropping photos and tools give you access to more focused tweets, such as red -eye removal and clone stamp features. Does PhotoScape deserve to be an alternative to Photoshop? Whether PhotoScape will work for your photo editing or not depends exactly on what you want to do, or how professionally you ask for the end result. If you need the real paint and creativity that layers offer, PhotoScape may be a bit lacking. However, if you just want to do basic editing and have fun with your photos in the meantime, PhotoScape is a great choice. This allows you to enjoy the fun of editing, with apps that are much more complex and easier to navigate. That’s not to mention PhotoScape can’t make professional photos – it will take longer to get there because PhotoScape isn’t as rough as its paid layers, but great apps are still there when people discuss photo editing apps, one of the first questions that arises is about layers. Because Photoshop is a great app (and Photoshop has layers), it’s often considered a basic requirement when it comes to what’s good in an app. Still, the fact is that most of us don’t need layers in our photo editing. If you think you can do without it, then PhotoScape is a great place to start. This has a live approach that allows you to radically change photos and, unlike alternatives like Picsart, is more aimed at editing real photos than making photos fun to share online. If you’re looking for a workhorse without a price tag, PhotoScape should be your first place. What’s New Several changes have been made in the last PhotoScape update. These include: Addition of ‘Black & White’ and ‘Bandicoot’ filters (Editor> Home, Smart Blur brush (Editor> Tools> Impact brush), brush size increased from 3 to 4 and become larger, 29 more film effects added in total as 35 movie effects now. (Editor> Home), and Improve the Movie Effects UI.
