Mr. Niranjan Phuyal is a highly accomplished leader in Nepal’s financial and capital markets, bringing over two decades of progressive experience in financial sector management and regulation. Before joining NRNIL, he served as the Acting Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd. (NEPSE), where he repeatedly assumed the responsibilities of Acting Chief Executive Officer, leading significant regulatory, structural, and operational reforms that strengthened Nepal’s capital market framework. Mr. Phuyal’s expertise extends to high-level governance and institutional oversight. He has served on the boards of CDS and Clearing Ltd. and the Citizen Investment Trust, where he contributed to advancing corporate governance, compliance, and strategic decision-making in alignment with the regulatory frameworks of SEBON, NRB, and other financial authorities. Academically, Mr. Phuyal holds an M.Phil. in Finance from Kathmandu University and has completed specialized international training in securities markets and AML/CFT compliance from globally recognized institutions, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and AUSTRAC. In addition, he is a visiting faculty member at the Kathmandu University School of Management (KUSOM), where he teaches finance and investment. With his extensive leadership experience, academic grounding, and governance expertise, Mr. Phuyal’s strategic vision is fully aligned with NRNIL’s mission to mobilize Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) investments for national development and sustainable growth.

Mr. Bashyal is an accomplished business development professional with over half a decade of experience across investment firms, startups, and educational consultancies. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Management (MBM) with a specialization in Finance, along with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics from Tribhuvan University. Prior to his current role at NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited, Mr. Bashyal served as a Business Development Officer at Golden Gate Study Abroad and Vision Lumbini Limited. Beyond his professional endeavors, he is actively engaged in academic research and fellowships with institutions such as the University Grants Commission (UGC). With over eight years of practical expertise in the Nepalese capital market, he actively participates in entrepreneurial forums and discussions, contributing to the advancement of business development and the growth of the startup ecosystem.
